Mahi, meaning work.
It actually comes from a Māori proverb:
Mauri mahi, mauri ora; mauri noho, mauri mate.
"Industry begets prosperity; idleness begets poverty,"
So if you do the work (mahi), then you get the rewards.

It may take a little longer, but trust us it'll be worth the wait.
